Working Principle

The triple-offset design consists of three geometric offsets between the valve stem, the centerline of the disc, and the sealing surface.

During opening and closing, the disc moves away from the sealing seat, minimizing friction and mechanical wear. Near the fully closed position, the disc engages the metal seat to create a tight and reliable seal.

The pneumatic actuator uses compressed air to rotate the valve shaft and disc. Depending on the actuator configuration, the valve can be operated as double-acting or spring-return for different process and fail-safe requirements.
